We picked Seville because it is a great place to explore. The food is amazing. The people watching is great. And there is loads to do and see.
The food in Seville is amazing and you can't go wrong wherever you pick. However, here are a few of our faves.
A small, traditional place with hams hanging from the ceiling.
A gem in the North of the city centre. Offers a modern take on tapas and is delicious.
One of the oldest bars in town and one of the best. Very traditional with the majority of people standing.
Excellent tapas place with a some seating outside. Often need to put your name down and have a drink whilst you wait.
Definitely a more modern take on tapas in a modern setting but the food was top notch. It gets busy so worth getting there early.
This one is on the list for one reason: the churros. They win.
Another more traditional joint where you'll find classic dishes and customers standing at high tables on the street.
A quirky place with great tapas. Head to the room at the back to sit with the barrels.
It's worth noting these bars are typically open 1pm - 4pm and 8:30pm - midnight.
The food is all great but its well worth trying some of the speciality dishes. Here are a few we'd recommend.
A cold, creamy tomato soup. Usually topped with Iberico ham. An Andulacian fave.
Pork loin with whisky sauce. Need we say more.
Pork cheeky. It is amazing. If it's on the menu you have to order it.
Spinach and chickpea. Always a good addition to the table.
Fried cod.
Meatballs.
Aubergine with honey. A winner. Especially if it has a bit of goats cheese with it.
A small beer (usually Cruzcampo). Quench that thirst one small, cold one at a time!
A sangria like drink that is more common in Seville. It's red wine mixed with lemonade or soda water over ice.
Relaxing, eating and drinking are all great in Seville but there are a few other things to do and see. It's well worth taking a look if you have some free time.
Beautiful gardens, as seen on Game of Thrones. You might need to book tickets.
Lovely. And great for a stroll in the sunshine.
It is impressive and you can pay to go inside, get a break from the heat and can also climb up the tower.
Head up to the top of this structure for nice views of the city.
Perfect for a stroll. And there are some kiosks where you can stop for a sundowner along the way.
If you have chance you should definitely do this! La Carboneria (Calle Levíes, 18) used to be the best place to see a show. Its free and is on from around 10pm to midnight.
